A modern take on a tried and tested classic, this belt knife is designed to be a versatile companion on hunting expeditions, camping trips, hikes and every day tasks.

The comfortable handle is sculpted with facets and curves. Desert Ironwood is an incredible material - dense and hard with natural protective oils. It’s ideal for handles. The blade shape is inspired by vintage hunting knives that were produced in the early 1900s. AEB-L is a fantastic stainless steel that, with the help of a cryogenic heat treatment, exhibits high hardness and toughness.

The copper bolster where the blade and handle meet has been carefully detailed and features a hammered face with matte, bead blasted sides.

Comes with a black, hand stitched, vegetable tanned leather sheath with a belt loop (available for right side or left side carry).

Available in two configurations:

Brushed & Burnished - a brushed finish on the blade with a smooth, burnished finish on the the Desert Ironwood handle

Blasted & Burnt - a matte, blasted finish on the blade with a charred, shou sugi ban treatment on the Desert Ironwood handle

“Shou sugi ban” is an ancient Japanese method of preservation that helps to stabilize the wood and highlights the beautiful grain and figure unique to each piece. The handle is first shaped then carefully charred and brushed before being given 3 coats of penetrative oil finish.
