These are perfectly proportioned, 1/3 scale miniature versions of two of my best selling models - a 10” Gyuto and an 8” Nakiri. Blades are cryogenically hardened AEB-L stainless steel with a full flat grind, distal taper, rounded spine and choil, and a brushed finish. Fully sharpened and ready to slice. The handles are made from fine, figured hardwoods and shaped in the traditional tapered octagonal wa style.

They're real knives, just little. Although not intended as a practical kitchen tool, they can be - and certainly have been - used as a fun way to prepare a snack.

***All handles will have ebony ferrules with a figured hardwood main section. There will be a wide variety of wood species used, the photos below show examples of the handles you can expect. Customers will be given their choice of handle according to the order of their purchase (ex.
